Began cycling in 1997. Dad, Rick Boucher, enrolled her in the
Colorado Springs Youth Cycling League. The best person (other than members of the USA Cycling staff) to
comment on her career is Mark Tyson. Mark has coached Rikki almost from
the beginning of her cycling career and has been instrumental in her
success.
Aside from being very strong for her size, Rikki's strongest qualities
as a cyclist are that she works hard at training, is dedicated, and is
disciplined. Her organizational skills contribute to her success.
Athletes admired most by Rikki are Tanya Lindenmuth, Missy Thompson,
Mari Holden, and Sarah Uhl because they are very dedicated to their sport
and they have helped her along with support, encouraging words, and advice. Rikki
feels that women cyclists need to help each other to promote the sport.
Rikki likes to hang out with her friends, read books, hike, and ski.
